Can Men experience pregnancy symptoms too?

A lady claimed her husband experienced bloating, constipation, irritability and nausea while she was pregnant!

Another man claimed he gained 8kg when his wife was pregnant with their firat child!

Are these men being Paternal Copycats or attention seekers??

TRUTH

COUVADE SYNDROME, sometimes called sympathetic pregnancy, the expectant mother's partner (or, in some cases, a very close friend or relative) has symptoms that uncannily mimic pregnancy.

As you all know, a man can become very stressed up when his wife is expecting!

Now, this stress can lower testosterone levels in men, leaving them with out-of-balance estrogen levels, creating pregnancy-like symptoms.

So next time you are battling morning sickness, please spare your significant other the dry toast and crackers, he just might be experiencing nausea too!! Lol
